Well I just had Lucifer build me a setup an got to run with it during S&F's breaking in the field game.I got one complaint...I wished I had bought a Tank pouch also!!
I've been going Through a harness or vest at least once a year..Thats around 150 a year out the window.Due to the fact they wont hold up to real rugged play pouches tear and or held together with mesh only .I wont be having those problems anymore. All you have to do is put the harness/Battle belt on and you know your running the best kit on the field. I'm not the smallest of people an I tend to run into the cookie cutter type gear that would fit somebody 5'10" 150 pounds an have no choice but to deal with it. This gear was fit for ->me<- not mass produced and it fits like it was molded for me. It can be let out more or snugged up also.
Design= I purchased mine with a large yoke which I recommend if your a Lil larger than norm with the H panel in the front that makes attaching various kit easy an yet doesn't cover your whole chest. Also I purchased the Battle Belt. The way this gear is designed ,it has so many different options an possibilities. your not buying one vest an then getting another to fill another role you like filling. This setup I can go from sniper or pistol packer to heavy gunner in a matter of minutes.I'd be pretty hard pressed to find another maker out there that they're gear is as versatile as Filthy Gear. One other thing about the design, the way its built. My other vests an kit I 'd have problems where the shoulder straps would tend to twist an the belt would roll. You don't have any of those problems with the way this is put together. The fact when they call out game in 5 an you can just reach over pick it up by the neck 4 clicks ready to roll an not be fumbling for clips that wrapped around the straps or untangling the shoulder straps .The single sling that came with it is anchored over your shoulder an not across the back of your neck an it rides there placing your marker battle ready.
Quality=I'd like to find somebody out there that matches or comes close to this kit.Its not thrown together by some kid in a sweat shop that could care less about how it'll hold up or was mass produced with only the thought of where they can cut a corner to make an extra nickle. All edges are bound an stitched .This is put together with the thought that it will be going through hell an back an the only reason I want to see it back is to get something else added. The Buckles and clasps are top quality pay attention or you can get blood blisters type secure. Not the cheap 25 cent ones like are put on most other vests out there.I've busted at least one on each of the vests I've had in the past.So far after all the different vests an harness's I've used an seen I have yet to find any even in the same ball park as this in the area of quality an versatility.
Fit= I ran with it all day long and it was like it wasn't even there.Granted if you would load it up yeah you'd know it but your shoulders wont be sore from straps cutting into it.My set up isn't meant to be cinched up tight to the body but more to drape over your shoulders and the collar doesn't irritate your neck and in fact sits a little down so it doesn't even touch it.It has all kinds of adjustment to it,whether it be the sides or front to back.
Price= Well if you want quality for the price in my opinion its a great investment because you wont be buying a new kit for a few years an doubtful at that..More than likely only things you'd be buying is different accessories to add to it . I'm not blowing smoke and if I wasn't impressed with the gear I wouldn't be sitting here wasting my time . I figure what I've spent in the last few years in just vests an harnesses Is more than this gear cost me. I'm a Snap On tools not walmart 5.00 tool rack kind of guy .I look at putting money toward quality gear as an investment that I wont be buying another POS that I'll be replacing in the near future.I've finally found what I've been looking for in this gear.
In short in my humble opinion this gear is the real deal.
