I just picked my HAVOC up this morning. I have to say it is a well well made piece of gear. First impressions are it is well built and has the same anno as everything else from Metadyne. Very well done. The only problem I have seen so far is that the safety bar tends to launch out when the safety is disengaged. The safety bar is almost identical to the A5 safety bar with an o-ring that holds it in postion but there is nothing to retain it when pushed "off" to fire. I have emailed Metadyne with this feedback. I modified mine by drilling and tapping a 3mm hole through the small end of the safety and adding a washer and small bolt to keep it in place. I still need to mod the one for the under mount kit. Overall this thing is very well built and feels great in your hands. I will post more as I use it on the field. Pic: Safeties side by side: Modified safety: I am going to trim the edge off of the washer.

I finally got to use the HAVOC in battle last Sunday. What a great weapon. Initially it took a few shots to dial in the trajectory of the Nerf Vortex rounds, but after 3-4 shots I was hitting targets on the forst try. It was very accurate and had awesome range. I had 2 of the Noxx shotgun rounds, however the paintballs tended to break inside the barrel and 6-8 of the 12 wopuld leave in one piece. I was running a 13/3000 tank with the launcher. i was able to get 12-15 shots before needing to refill the tank. Pretty good if you ask me.
The second game of the day my primary weapon ran out of air, I did not think there was time left in the engagement to step off to refill it, so I took to the field with the HAVOC. We were being pushed back into our CP area. I went to the front line and started clearing bunkers with the HAVOC. This allowed us to take and hold more ground.
Overall I am really impressed with the HAVOC. Now to get the breach loader when it comes available.
