First Impression:
Love at first sight, Looks great, little big in my hands but then I have small hands, Feels solid even though its mostly composite. Looks a bit big on top and it is a little + thats where most of the weight is but I won't have any problems with it.
Initial test shots:
I don't know what the velocity was set at but from repeaded fire, about 2.5 mags before significant drop off (cold out though and unknown velocity). I used some whitebox procaps about a month old and sitting in the back of my truck. A little soft but the TPX had no problems shooting it. I should have put a few drops on oil in it before testing but I was too excited. A couple times, after inserting a mag, I would hear a slight leak but firing a shot stopped it. A little oil should fix that no problem.
Disassembly:
Do it on a sheet or table. While it will look like it has hardly any internals to pop out or get lost, beware or the magazine release and the top ball sight. Its a clamshell but its not that bad, the internals can be easily removed and O-ring replacement is extremely easy. Make sure everthing is in its place before putting back together. It is definatly easier than assembling a 98C.
Fun:
Can't wait for the remote line setup to be released. I already have my HAVOC with breach load intalled on the front rails. I think I'll keep the HAVOC on the pistol and carry it in a shotgun pouch. That way I can still shoot while firing rockets + it would be a great tank hunter. Pistol play with a HAVOC on the front for the bigger targets.
So Far I love it and I will be updating as I continue to test.
